Secondwind 3.0 Jacket

Love that this jacket is so lightweight and small — it packs into itself via the left breast pocket. Great true to size fit. A little expensive, but Would def recommend.

I loved the fit of the jacket the cut and the material. However I was disappointed that the colors are less bright than what is shown online. The yellow is more of a tan brown and the other colors are more muted. I bought it for the colors and would have returned it if it wasn’t final sale. :-(

Bought this for my husband at REI. He is 6 foot, 155 pounds. He’s an ultra athlete… so he is very lean. Medium fits him perfect. Perfect length in sleeves and torso for someone 6 foot. He looks amazing in this jacket! Love it on him. Meow… might need to get him the green one, too.

I love the Mathis line of clothing. Great for mtb, running, and climbing. Also very stylish!

I have done several runs in this jacket and it’s absolutely amazing!!!!!! I was a bit hesitant when purchasing but I’m so glad I did, it’s so good not looking like everyone else in there boring jackets. So many compliments and feels great when running

If I could give this 6 stars I would. Quite frankly, this jacket exceeds expectations in every way. It is ultralight yet durable. Wore it on a wet morning that turned warm quickly and kept it on the entire time. It breathes incredibly, but stands up to wind and moisture as well. Design/graphics are really cool and the color is great. It’s a softer green than appears in photos. Folds into its own front pocket for quick packing. Can easily throw in a running vest or bag. I also think it is priced appropriately. Well done Roark!

I've had this jacket for over a year now and this thing is my favorite piece of clothing I own besides my running shoes. It immediately takes the chill of the wind away without making me feel clammy. The material is so light and airy, I will wear it around with no shirt! It's not great in the rain but I will wear it as long as I can before moving to a totally waterproof solution like the Houdini. Love the hood and thumb loops as well, but I'm considering cutting the loops to save weight. Don't hesitate to buy this garment.

My husband is a designer so I wanted to get these beautiful designs and colors on him in an outfit. This jacket he really loved the thumbloops. In the end he has what he needs for gear and so we sent kit back (he has a Patagonia Houdini).

This "jacket" is extremely thin, but the material is breathable. So if you want a light layer, this is your guy. It packs down very small and is light, so I bring it everywhere and am surprised with how nice a breathable layer to block the wind can be in the PNW.

Great lightweight windbreaker. I’ve now owned 2 of these jackets. The first one I bought had a few quality defects that were visible after only a couple of uses. Threads and stitches came undone in a few places. I wrote a negative review and was contacted by Roark customer support shortly after. They were very helpful and quickly shipped me a new jacket. The new one has no quality issues and I’ve been wearing it regularly for a couple of weeks now on runs and bike rides. The jacket is very lightweight - perfect to pack in a bag or clip onto your back pack for hikes or long runs. It keeps me warm while I warm up for my run then it quickly packs away when I get hot. It’s perfect for a breezy morning or for a VERY light drizzle. I wore it in the rain once but it is too thin to provide much water resistance. Overall I’m very happy with the jacket and it’s become my go to for just about every outdoor activity.

I received this as a gift and thought it might be too thin to be of much use. However, I gave it a try by wearing it on top of a wicking tee and a wool base layer on a sub-40 degree, windy day hike. It wound up being all I needed as I adjusted the zipper opening to match the protection I needed from the wind. I left my puffy jacket in the backpack.
