Layover Pants

In love with the fit/cut/material/look of these pants. They are so comfy & soft, durable, functional AND stylish! Will be living in these pants in and outside

I walked into Roark in San Francisco and bought my husband a pair of layover pants. He loved them. I came back and bought the tiger lotus shirt, it quickly became my husbands favorite shirt. He now has many pairs of jeans, bless up breathable shirts, a couple of the Hebrides jackets and some of the travelers shorts. He even he wears Roark boxer briefs. He loves it all. He never wants to buy his clothes from anywhere else. He even told me that he never really looked forward to wearing clothes and now he does! We love Roark. I even bought myself a dress.

The pants could have been great for travel but they are so short. I'm 5'8 and the pants didn't quite hit my ankle. But when I sit down they are like 8" from my shoe. Hopefully they will come out with different lengths in the future. I read the description I didn't see it mention how short they were.

I wear a 29 in 395 denim and the 29 for these pants fit perfect, comfy and can be dressed up or down. This pattern is amazing too!

These fell short of my expectations. My husband has two pair that he loves and I have to admit I was a bit jealous. I pulled the trigger on the ladies pants and they don’t do it for me. I felt like the waist was way too high and tight. I’m 25-26 in all the fancy jeans. I got a 26 in these and they while they fit, they aren’t cute or comfortable on me. Additionally, these had a major mom jeans vibe as the pockets are placed really high - to go with the high waist. They also had pretty bad hungry butt. A larger size wouldn’t help. I’ll hope for a mid or low rise in the future. They have so many great features, I’m sad they didn’t work out.

These are the best pants in the history of pants. They are so flattering and very tough. The material is soft but sturdy and has the perfect amount of stretch. I am 5'9" and the length is perfect for me. Right at the ankle. I have a 30.5" waist and I ordered the size 30. They fit great, but run a tad big for a relaxed fit at the waist. The details are excellent like on all of Roark's clothes. The zippered pockets rock. The buttons are sewn on to stay, and I love that the drawcord can be worn inside or outside. 10/10

Runs large. I’ve never tried Roark before but saw these cute pants and really wanted them. However even though the reviews said they are true to size I find them to be way too baggy. I bought them on sale so I cannot exchange them for a smaller size. I’d say size down if you’re unsure. Hoping I can shrink them a bit otherwise I’ll have to alter them to wear.

Love these pants! They are very comfortable and the fabric is cool enough to wear in the warmer months. My only comment is that they are much longer on the average person than the picture would suggest. Im 5’4” and these come all the way down to my ankles.

Super comfy, deep pockets, love how you have the option to hide the draw string. The material is so nice with a bit of stretch but not too much. I love the hidden pocket behind the back pocket. 10/10 would highly recommend. Had a problem with my first pair of these pants and the company sent me a new pair. Easy peasy. Super helpful staff and easy process of getting replacement pants. Overall, I love these pants and this brand and will definitely be purchasing more in the future. Thanks Roark !!!

Love these pants! And yes, I'm a guy. They have a great modern wide legged silhouette I've been looking for. The guy at the Boulder store suggested I try them on and, boom, new favorite. I'm 6", 160lbs, and usually wear 31" waist. These fit perfectly. They're flowy and I roll them up a couple times. They'd be too short to wear unfolded. Zip pockets all day.

I already have these in the Military color and came back for the black. My favorite pants for traveling or just hanging out in. More comfortable than jeans.

I've been looking for a pair of wide leg travel paints to wear in New Zealand, and these are it! These are very comfortable and will be perfect to walk around in and explore, as well as sit on long bus rides. I'm a 29 in Levis and ordered a 29 here and they fit perfectly.

I really like the pants. They fit well and I like the cut. I ordered a size 27 and probably could have sized down. 5'1" 115 lbs. They were a bit long but after washing, I don't think I will have to get them tailored. They sit just above the ground on me when I am barefoot. I also want to shout out the pockets. They are great. Companies need to get on board with providing women with pockets that will actually hold something. The one downside is that they collect lint. It shows up quite a bit on the black pair. I was going to take them on an upcoming trip but don't want to have to lint roller them all the time.

It’s such a beautiful pants. Finally a pant that is not high-rise. It’s perfect fit perfectly true to size very comfortable and high-quality. I wish it comes in different colors preferably dark colored I would buy all of it.
