I like everything about these jeans except the workmanship on the black patch that's sewn to the back. I have a pair of these and also the 133's and I noticed from day one that the stitching that holds the black logo patch on the back is very close to the edge of the patch. Well, after a couple of washes, both patches are starting to pull away from the stitches and one corner is coming loose from the denim on each pair. I fear that exchanging them will yield the same problem, so I'm going to have to have them repaired by a local tailor who can stitch the patches down more securely and maybe not so close to the edge.

These jeans feel great, but the sizing is totally inconsistent. I ordered a 36-34, and they are way too big on the waist and too loose through the leg. I ordered a 34-32, and I can barely get them on, being skin tight from waist to ankle. With no sizes in between, I find it Impossible that these are the same pants.

I took a gamble buying this without seeing them, touching them, trying them on. And they are great! Fit very well, good stretch to them, I am very happy with these jeans!

The Roark pants and shorts are a success! These straight fit jeans are realistic in fit, and ideal in body movement with the fabric construction. I don’t miss my ole pair now that I have these HWY 128 Smokey Blues! Hope you continue this line in the future without change for the future!

Hwy 128s are Roark's take on the classic straight leg 501s, except modernized with a zipper fly instead of buttons - a massive improvement IMO
The selvege denim itself is raw indigo, 2% polyurethane for stretch, and milled on a vintage shuttle loom in Japan. It's a middle weight, all season fabric and I got 2 pairs; one a size up and the other a size down.
The 32" waist jean has been washed & dried 20 times now and is just beginning to fade. It also shrank by 1" in the waist and two on the inseam. The 30" have been worn for about 200 hours and have stretched 1" at the waistband for a perfect fit. I won't be washing these ever, unless absolutely necessary. It does, after all, say "DO NOT WASH" right on the label!

Nice fit, nice taper, fits athletic legs without looking baggy, just the right amout of room for the guy who doesn't skip leg day. Color is light khaki.
