I love these pants, they are my favourite of all time, onto my second pair. I’ve properly road tested them. I wore my first pair pretty much every day for over a year (yep even in winter), from rock climbing to going out for dinner and everything in between… only now has the phone pocket blown out and zipper on the right pocket has busted. Also some stitching is coming undone. I wish they would last forever.

A super versatile pair of shorts that can be dressed up or down. I love the fit, the length, and the abundance of pockets.
The only downside is the fabric, which attracts every bit of lint. This is a significant drawback, especially for the black pair I purchased. I own a cat, not an excessive shedder, yet these shorts act like a magnet for fur. I can't imagine the situation for someone with multiple cats or dogs.
Had I read a review mentioning this issue, I would have certainly opted for another Layover style.
Overall, these are great shorts, but if you own pets, be prepared to invest in a large supply of lint rollers.

These shorts are awesome! The fit is perfect and they are high quality. I love the stretch and that they are quick drying too! Highly recommended and will be buying another pair in a different color as soon as they’re back in stock.

This version of these is a little thicker but natural fibers which is nice. Big zip pockets take a bit to get used to but they're handy for travel.

I love these shorts. The materials are solid and the well made. Super comfortable. I love the breathable panel near the lower back. They look great on. Not your typical frumpy dad short.

Wore these on an adventure through Jordan and a couple days in NYC. These made it throughDead Sea, Jaresh, Wadi Rum, Red Sea, street of Amaan, and New York without issue. Tons of pockets with zipper for you important stuff, and a few deep ones for the big stuff. 4 way stretch made them great for hiking, long car rides and hanging out by a spool.
