Axeman X Halley Stevensons Jacket

This is the jacket I grab more than any other, and for good reason. It feels fantastic to wear, snug but not restrictive. I get compliments all the time from friends as well as strangers. The lining feels substantial, I've never felt like it wasn't keeping me warm when it should have been. It's just a solid, reliable, comfortable coat that I would recommend without hesitation. My only qualm is that my girlfriend puts it on herself nearly every time we are out and I don't get it back.

Love this jacket! My only regret, not Roark’s fault, is that I have too many green jackets now, but this one just replaced most of them. Another colorway would’ve been cool and maybe I missed that earlier in the season. I have to tell you, the customer service was excellent. I received the jacket, planning to bring it on a trip to UK. It had a seam issue that made it difficult to squeeze my arm into the sleeve. The customer service was very responsive, literally same day or next if it was late. They replaced the jacket for me quickly too! Which shows they take pride in their products and want to ensure we’re satisfied with them. Shout out to Judy and Jasmin for their assistance ❤️.

This is my third Axeman, & I love all three--incredibly handsome & versatile jackets. First of all, I'm a 5' 10" trim mesomorph, & the medium fits me perfectly. I had a khaki one back in the day (peak hipster clothing-design years) & the shoulders were too tight, so I gave it to my buddy, but the three I have now couldn't fit any better--they're slim enough to look sharp for a millenial & also roomy enough for layering. Personally, I love the design: they're more versatile than sherpa trucker jackets b/c they're both warmer higher up by the neck & are long enough for certain shirts that truckers don't work well for. I got the black one this time b/c I didn't have any all black jackets, & I'm already using it frequently. The other ones I have are even better (the Harris Tweed & the Halley Stevenson's), but I've been digging the black one since I got it.

I'm a 5'10" man weighing about 175 lbs and the large fits me perfectly. I can wear it with a t-shirt, or an additional thin layer. I've tossed in on in about freezing temp's with just a long sleeve shirt and stayed warm while walking the dog.

It's so soft and well made. He absolutely loves it! He's 6'1" and weighs about 180lbs and a medium fits perfect.

An excellent jacket that has kept me warm in temperatures down to - 30c. The heavy canvas exterior held up extremely well on all kinds of rough surfaces, and paired with a puffy, I was toast as a toaster. The fleece lined pocket made the miserable temperatures keep even my frigid fingers working in those temps while working out there.

Great hardshell jacket. Suitable for work and a night out. I think it punches above its weight in warmth- it is very warm. The magnetic closures on the pockets keep everything in.

I’m 5’10 185 pounds athletic body ordered size large. Perfect fit. Very comfortable, stylish and keeps me warm.Has become my favorite jacket I own. I just ordered another one in a tan color. you get what you pay for they are well-made worth the money.

I religiously rock Roark. They put a lot into this design and it's better than expected. Lot of helpful pockets and cody. I live in Hawaii so not facing arctic chill per se, but feel this could be ready for that. I'm 5'11 180 and it fits comfortablely tight.

This jacket is high quality, has an amazing style, fits true and will keep you warm. Love it.

So I've already got a couple of Axemen; one with a woolen shell and the other in waxed canvas. Excellent, practical garments in every way. Didn't really need another one But Black Friday came along and I just couldn't resist picking one up in a classic Roark style; Kikagaku. I've got a Nordsman shirt with this attractive jacquard weave, along with matching fleece hoodie. They do look great worn together.. or separately Was also curious to see how size extra-small would fit my slight (5'9" 130lb) frame and I'm very pleased with the result. A slick, tailored look, there's no room for layering, but I don't intend wearing it on the coldest days. Here's why: the shell's only 10% wool. My others have more wool in the shell (dark navy2) or the liner fill (Halley Stevensons) and therefore more effectively insulated But like I said, I got this one for the design/print. Sometimes it's OK to be a bit chill when you look cool AF! And as is so often the case with Roark, product looks even better in person, as the accompanying photo will attest
