Lightweight and minimal for top level run performance. Made from a lightweight 4-way stretch nylon with a water-resistant finish. Featuring an integrated breathable, anti-microbial brief liner. The short features a water-resistant zippered back pocket for your phone or other stowables and two external gel pockets on the hips. With a 5” inseam and an extended-slit notched hem, the short is designed to meet the demands of your long run or daily workout.

I have 4 pairs of the Alta 5” short. This is the only short that I run it. I love the fit. The back pocket is perfect for my phone and I can hold up to 8 gels. I’m planning on getting more.

I love these shorts! The center back pocket is perfect for weight distribution of a cell phone while running. They’re a good length and the liner is pretty good. Cool designs, awesome moisture-wicking properties, and they don’t get smelly. Good job Roark!

First of all, these shorts are an incredible design - you’ll be running down the street turning heads and hearing stereos being switched to Motörhead as you pass by!
They are also the most comfortable running shirts I’ve ever owned - and I’m sold for life here now. Silky interior brief, while the shirt material itself is like a light breeze passing over your skin - say goodbye to any skin irritation you had from rubbing or long runs, you are in paradise now! Perfectly suited for short/long runs, time at the gym or even just some time at the beach these babies are versatile in performance, even for casual wear! 10/10 could not recommend enough!

If you say these shorts are going to be xxl, make them that way. I'm tired of running/sports clothes companies running way too small by virtue of making their clothes "skin-tight" when in reality they are just not conforming to regular sizing. I should not require an xxxl in running shorts when I wear an xl in regular shorts.

The Alta 5” shorts are my go to shorts for long runs, short runs, interval work, and trails. I also wear them daily for weight training and HIIT workouts. They are lightweight and extremely durable. At this point I have probably 8-10 pairs of regular and Light Alta 5” shorts. Would highly recommend. I wear small in Roark, but historically medium in other brands. 5’5” 140 pounds.

Ever since I put on my first pair of Alta 5" in early 2021, they have been my go to trail running/training/trail ultra race day shorts. I have acquired multiple pairs over the years, but even my first pair from 3 1/2 years ago is still going strong! Love these shorts
